The future development direction of conveyor industry
 
Since the middle of the 19th century, modern conveyors have appeared in industrial production. After more than 150 years of development, the conveyors have been affected by technological progress in machinery manufacturing, electrical machinery, chemical engineering, and metallurgical industries. They have been continuously improved and gradually transferred from the inside of the workshop to the completion of the transfer within the company, the enterprises, and even the city. Material handling has become an indispensable part of the mechanization and automation of material handling systems. Today, people are increasingly demanding the quality and type of conveyors. The existing conventional conveyors have become increasingly difficult to meet people's needs. So where does the future conveyor industry go? The future conveyor industry will have the following five major development directions:
1 Larger structure. Large-scale includes several aspects such as large transport capacity, large stand-alone length, and large transport inclination. The length of the hydraulic conveying device has reached 440 kilometers. The length of the single unit of the belt conveyor has been nearly 15 kilometers, and there have been several "belt conveyors" that make up the connection between A and B. Many countries are exploring more complete conveyor structures for long-distance, large-capacity continuous transport of materials.
2 The scope of use has been expanded. Develop conveyors that can operate in high temperature and low temperature environments, corrosive, radioactive, and flammable materials, and convey materials that are hot, explosive, easy to stick, and sticky.
3 control automation. The structure of the conveyor meets the requirements for automatic control of the material handling system on single machines. For example, the trolley conveyor used for automatic sorting of parcels used by the post office should be able to meet the requirements of sorting operations.
4 Lightweight energy consumption. Reducing energy consumption to save energy has become an important aspect of scientific research in transportation technology. The energy consumed for transporting one ton of material for one kilometer has been used as one of the important indicators of conveyor selection.
5 Greener and more environmentally friendly. Reducing dust, noise and emissions from various conveyors during operation. The entire production process is more low-carbon and environmentally friendly.
